What is BioThane®?

BioThane® is currently the highest quality waterproof webbing available in the marketplace. At its core is an ultra-strong polyester webbing which is coated with a durable waterproof PVC coating. Unlike leather and nylon, BioThane® doesn't absorb water or odours and it is super easy to keep clean. It has the perfect combination of strength, comfort and durability for all your adventures.

Antique Brass or Stainless Steel?

All of our leads and collars are made using high quality durable hardware. Antique brass is perfect for splashing in puddles and rolling in mud but it is not suitable for beach days and saltwater exposure. For sea and beach lovers, and also dogs that swim frequently, we recommend choosing one of our products made using stainless steel. This is because stainless steel has superior strength and it is highly resistant to even the wettest of environments.

How do I clean my collar or lead?

BioThane® is easy to care for. Simply wipe clean with a damp cloth and allow to dry. More stubborn dirt can be easily removed with a little soap and water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners as they can damage the materials. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.

How do I care for my collar or lead?

We have meticulously sourced the highest quality materials for our collars and leads, and while regular cleaning and maintenance will help prolong its life, no product is indestructible. Whilst BioThane® webbing is tougher than nylon, it is not chew proof so please keep those little teeth away. Please also be aware that the chemicals in tick and flea protection can damage the BioThane® webbing.

For your pets safety and comfort, please inspect regularly for signs of wear and tear and replace when necessary. It is the customer's responsibility to determine the suitability of the product for their pet.

How to I clean Comfort+ Explorer Harness?

To keep in tip-top condition, we recommend hand washing our harnesses. Alternatively, for tough stains, you can place your harness inside a washbag or pillowcase and machine wash on a cool cycle. Air dry only.
